A fire at the Fiber Conversion plant in Broadalbin, NY on Jan. 31, 2008 could be seen for miles.  The blaze destroyed the textile processing building despite the efforts of fire
departments from around the area.
Jerry Sage, retired Col., received Teacher of the Year honors in South
